Music and Past Habits

Genres: pop, rock, jazz, classical, folk, hip-hop, rap, electronic. People: singer, composer, musician, band, audience. Verbs: perform, compose, release, play an instrument. We use used to + base verb for past habits and states that are no longer true: I used to play the guitar. We use would + base verb only for repeated actions, not for states: We would sing together every summer.
