Önemli noktalar
- Kısa sıfat → -er: cheap → cheaper · the cheapest
- Uzun sıfat → more/the most: expensive → more expensive · the most expensive
- Karşılaştırma →... than: This phone is cheaper than that one.
- Eşitlik → as... as: This bag is as nice as that one.
- Üstünlük derecesinde 'the' zorunludur: the cheapest, the most expensive.

- Kısa sıfat → -er: cheap → cheaper · the cheapest
- Uzun sıfat → more/the most: expensive → more expensive · the most expensive
- Karşılaştırma →... than: This phone is cheaper than that one.
- Eşitlik → as... as: This bag is as nice as that one.
- Eşitsizlik → not as... as: It isn't as cheap as I thought.
- Düzensiz → good → better → the best / bad → worse → the worst
Sık yapılan hatalar
- "more cheaper" → Doğrusu: cheaper (-er ve more birlikte kullanılmaz).
- "the most cheapest" → Doğrusu: the cheapest.
- "as cheap than" → Doğrusu: as cheap as.
- "gooder / goodest" → Doğrusu: better / the best.
- "different than" (BrE) → Tercih: different from.
Hızlı tekrar ipuçları
- Karşılaştırmada than, eşitlikte as...as kullanılır.
- Superlative'den önce genellikle the gelir.
- Tek heceli sıfatlarda -er, üç heceli ve çoğu iki hecelide more.
